Reverend Christel Stuart is changing lives one couple at a time. Warm, witty and friendly, she has officiated over 200 wedding ceremonies near and far—from her own backyard in Bastrop to Austin to Costa Rica—since she first started marrying couples in 2014. She specializes in nondenominational and same-sex weddings as well as interfaith and civil ceremonies. Her excitement to be part of a couple’s big day is always clear as is her willingness to accommodate any request thrown her way. Whether it’s letting couples exchange their own vows, donning a costume for a twosome’s themed wedding or traveling across the world to orchestrate “I do” moments, she always goes the extra mile (or length of the aisle) to ensure your wedding is exactly the way you want it. Reverend Christel also partners with her husband, Austin Stuart, a wedding photographer who serves Bastrop and Greater Austin. Together, the husband-wife team can help you make the most of your day, rain or shine.
Sam Riccobene is an ordained Presbyterian minister who delights in weaving together a tapestry of culture, religion, ideas and opinions in order to give way to richer marriages and a more peaceful world. His passions include spending time at home in Austin, performing ceremonies for clients throughout Central Texas and volunteering internationally to do missions work. Beyond administering big-day vows for couples, Sam has heart for helping lovebirds for their marriage and journey through life together. He offers premarital counseling for twosomes wishing to explore their potential for a happy, productive marriage using an adapted family-systems approach. In three, one-hour sessions, he partners with the couple to dig into issues relating to family history, expectations, conflict, children, adoption as well as consideration around medicine and finances – setting them up for a love-filled forever together.
Global and open in her thoughts and her approach to officiating, Sarah de la Fuente believes that varied opinions, cultures, faiths, politics and preferences may sometimes challenge a marriage – but that they also create the occasion for deeply meaningful relationships and personal enrichment. Sarah has performed hundreds of weddings for couples, officiating each ceremony to fit the vastly varied spiritual backgrounds of the two people love has brought together. She is an ordained deacon in the Presbyterian Church, holds a nondenominational license and has served as the director of volunteer services of a local congregation. When not uniting couples in marriage, she enjoys historical fiction and cycling and appreciates a good laugh.
